E<\/span>s Profesor e investigador del <\/span>ITESO, Universidad jesuita de Guadalajara<\/span>. Adscrito al Centro Interdisciplinario para la Formaci\u00f3n y la Vinculaci\u00f3n Social (CIFOVIS<\/span>)<\/span>. Es Licenciado en Geograf\u00eda y Ordenaci\u00f3n Territorial por la Universidad de Guadalajara, generaci\u00f3n 1998-203; Maestro en Estudios sobre la Regi\u00f3n por El Colegio de Jalisco, generaci\u00f3n 2008-2009 y; Doctor en Ciencia Social con Especialidad en Sociolog\u00eda por El Colegio de M\u00e9xico, generaci\u00f3n 2010-2014. Actualmente es miembro del Sistema Nacional de Investigadores Nivel 1.
